Whats new with the BondServants:
Many of you have been praying for our bass singer and the only original founding member, Bob Lisenba. Bob was back in the hospital about two weeks ago getting two stints put in his heart. Eight years ago Bob had bypass surgery on his heart and then later had a pacemaker and defibrillator installed. Well about three weeks ago, was awakened by being jolted by the defibrillator to realize that there were now two blockages in the previous bypass. Hence, the need for surgery again. Bob continues to travel with us but has expressed that he’d like some more time with his family and grandkids. We fully understand that so we have been working our newest member of the group in to take his place. Please welcome John Metzger from Ohio originally but lives here in Chattanooga since he moved here in the mid 1980’s from associate pastorate work in California. John is pictured here in the bus with his wife, one of his daughters and three grand children. John and his wife work at Berean Baptist Academy in various capacities. He brings experience to the group like driving busses, as a bus driving and safety instructor in years past, Praise the Lord, now Dale can sleep from time to time on long trips. Pray for John as he learns new songs and becomes our newest addition. |
