What a sweet time of fellowship and praise as we sang at our home church, Woodland Park Baptist Church.  The annual Celebration of Freedom was held indoors this year due to the extreme heat.  For that, we are also thankful!

We have had several concerts since our return from Venezuela; all in all it has been a relatively quiet spring due to some personal scheduling issues within the group.

Thank you, Alan Brewster, for filling in for John during his surgery!  Please remember to pray for John as he has yet another surgery coming up and the recovery/therapy that goes along with that.

And then there has been a wedding!  One June 2, Dale gained a son-in-law.
Congratulations Brittney & Devin!

WOW!!!

Back from Venezuela with so many stories to tell.  It was a wonderful trip, Carlos and Susan Arce were the most gracious hosts.

When we arrived and went through customs, Carlos and Nelson (our driver) were there with big signs welcoming The BondServants. We left Caracas on our way to the home of Carlos & Susan Arce.  Needless to say, we were exhausted yet excited!  We started the next day with a great breakfast (made by Susan) and then a trip to Carlos' church where we would sing on Sunday. (Pictures coming soon).  Friday evening we went to town for a little local flavor of food.  Then a quick tour of the city and then back to the Arce's home for fellowship and relaxation.  Saturday we spent a little time shopping in the local market (our spouse's request) and rested some before the evening service in the next town where they have a church and a Bible camp.  It was great service with many coming to be saved.  Carlos is a great preacher!  After the service we all went up to the camp where they hold meetings for all ages.  This is also where Carlos & Susan's daughter and son-in-law live; we stayed and had dinner with them.  Sunday morning came early (up by six) for breakfast and devotions, then we were off to the first service.  There were from 800-1000 people crammed into the church and we saw many saved!!  What a wonderful time in the Lord we had with so many people who Love our God and serve Him.  Pray with us for the Arces and all the other local men who preach in the other mission churches that have been set up and are serving hundreds of Venezuelan people, that many more will come to know Christ in a personal way. Our lives have truly been changed; we were honored and humbled to be able to serve in this way.
