Fellowship Baptist Church

December 13th, 2009, another cold and rainy night, a perfect evening to come into a warm and cozy auditorium for a Christmas Program performed by the Fellowship Baptist Choir and the BondServants.  Pastor Lee Griggs opened the evening with a welcome he said, " you will not forget, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome".  The choir under the direction of Brent Jennings sang several beautiful songs.  What a blessing to hear Brother Jennings and the choir sing "Oh What a Saviour".  The BondServants continued the service with their Christmas Concert and an invitation.  The evening culminated with "Then Came the Morning", what a great song.  Thank you Fellowship Baptist Church for a lovely evening and we look forward to coming again.

First Baptist Church

December 8th, 2009 found the BondServants at First Baptist Dalton, Georgia for the Annual Christmas get together of the New Horizons Senior Group led by Bob Beck and his lovely wife.  There were over 175 people in attendance for the banquet.  Thanks to those who spent their time and effort preparing such a lovely and delicious meal.  It was wonderful to be among so many friendly faces and people who loved to worship in song.  It was only our second Christmas Concert of the year and what a great time we had singing His praises.  Thank you New Horizons for the invitation and we look forward to coming again.

Clearview Baptist Church

It was a cool, drizzly evening and a good time to be in the warm and cozy atmosphere that the BondServants enjoyed on Sunday evening, November 29th, at Clearview Baptist Church in Ringgold, Georgia.  It was good to see Pastor Herman Kapherr again as he met us upon our arrival.  The choir opened the evening with several selections under the direction of Ray Barnes, and the BondServants continued the service telling "The Christmas Story" through song. We presented some favorites  such as "Mary Did You Know", "The Hand of Sweet Release", "O Holy Night" and many more.  It was our great pleasure to introduce Dale Grisso, our newest member and pianist as he performed during our break and then during the second half of the concert.  We are very excited to have him and his great talent.  Thanks to everyone who prepared the delicious food and desserts during a time of fellowship after the service.  Thank you Pastor Kapherr and the people of Clearview Baptist Church for another great service!  We look forward to ministering to you again soon.

REVIVAL

"Revive Us Again Oh Lord," this was the theme of the evening as we arrived and sang at the Hullander Farm Friday evening Oct. 16th.  Our host for the evening was Bill Hullander.  We arrived early to set up but found the ground to wet for the bus to drive on.  We were able to park on the hill above the farm and Bill allowed us to use his truck to load our equipment and drive through the mud.  We all enjoyed great grilled hot dogs, chile and slaw for dinner.  After a few rousing songs led by Jerry Mattheiss, Bill began the program with testimonies and then introduced us.  We took the stage and sang several songs to a great crowd.  The evening message was presented by Allen Speer, a missionary to Cuba who told us about how God is changing lives in Cuba.  Many decisions were made and we were asked to come back up for a concluding song, "Arise My Love."  Thanks again Bill for the invite and we hope to be able to minister in your "barn" again soon.
