< Before the new paint job After the new paint job > The new paint job was donated for the glory of Jesus Chirst. God is so good. Some people like to talk about and look at the different buses that groups have, so we decided to devote a whole section to just our bus (our home away from home). Here is how it all started. We looked on the internet to see if there was a bus that we could afford and found one that we thought might be just for us. We drove down to Arcadia Florida and took a look at what seemed to be a bus that was in good shape (wrong). Upon close inspection, we found that the bus would need a lot of repairs and therefore would not be worth the effort. It was the only one there in our price range but having traveled so far we did not want to give up. We did find another bus (1990 Eagle) that we really thought fit our needs but the price was too high. Never the less, we prayed about it, made an offer and then left for home. It soon became our bus and all we had to do was go back to Arcadia and drive it back to Chattanooga.
Now for some interesting history on our bus that we found out later by looking at the log book that came with it. Even though this bus was converted from the factory, it is what they call an executive day coach. It is not an entertainer or RV, therefore, it was leased commercially.
These photos show all the work that went into preparing our bus for it's new paint job. You do not see Dale in any of these photos, but he spent a lot of hours getting the bus ready so that it could be painted.
